Capital Consulting & Management, Inc. is currently sponsoring two
self-assessment surveys designed to help companies better identify their current performance levels and the key areas for potential improvement. In each survey participants complete a confidential, in-depth questionnaire on
their company's current situation. In return, they receive a confidential, comprehensive report that compares themselves to other companies in the database and highlights those areas where there are significant gaps.
Procurement and Supplier Management.
An ongoing nationwide self-assessment survey of procurement in major U.S. manufacturing and services companies, focusing on the initiatives that leading companies are pursuing to position procurement as a high value activity
in the 21st century. The survey includes over 100 major U.S. companies to date, has been featured in a workshop sponsored by The Conference Board, and is used as a key element of initial procurement diagnostic reviews with
individual clients.
Supply Chain Performance vs. "World Class" Standards. A systematic self-assessment survey of company performance and opportunity areas along about 70 different aspects of supply chain management. The survey utilizes the frameworks
and diagnostic tools developed by the Council of Logistics Management in its 3-year research study on world class logistics, covering hundreds of companies worldwide. The survey was used at the 1998 Annual "Best Practices in
Supply Chain Management" Conference sponsored by IIR, and has been used with individual clients as part of their improvement programs.
These surveys are used both in
individual CCMI client engagements, as commercially sponsored training and professional development workshops, and for individual companies upon request. Typically, the surveys are used in conjunction with a half day
discussion session that reviews the detailed survey results, discusses the meaning of the findings, highlights examples of specific leading practices in industry today, and answers questions.
